Sisters Are Forever

So many things in this life
change as time passes by
but one thing that will never change
is my love for my sister
The bond between our hearts
will grow stronger with every
new memory we share
When we are old women
will talk about our childhood
We will laugh over things
we used to cry over
and we will remember the days
when life stretched out before us
like a glittering road to our dreams
We will think of pillow fights
and dandelion wishes
and secrets whispered
under deep blue skies
We will remember days of shopping
and hours of talking
